Clinics
Jumping clinic – Our jumping clinics are held at regular intervals throughout the year. Mark Bellinger is our Trainer and Instructor. Mark has had a very successful career show jumping and training. He started life riding at Bursted Manor many years ago as a small boy and has retained a special relationship with our stables ever since. Individual clinics cater for different abilities.
Showing clinic – Our showing clinics are also held at regular intervals throughout the year. Valentine Sheehan is our Show Producer. Val is a top class producer of show horses and his expert knowledge in conditioning, schooling and show ring techniques will help any interested in showing. He will help you to bring out the best in your horse from local to high level competition.
Childrens Birthday Parties
Children's birthday parties consist of an hours ride including gymkhana games and fun. Birthday parties are very popular with our younger equestrian enthusiasts and we can make that special day even more special.
Non-riding Horse Sessions
During these sessions you will learn to carry out various exercises including grooming, fitting of tack and equipment, leading, lunging, sometimes over small jumps, long reining and lose schooling. There is no specific type of horse or breed. Our horses are calm, patient and have a co-operative temperaments which makes them suitable for this work.
Fun and games Riding
On these rides, fun and games give a different aspect to riding, aimed at riders who enjoy a lighter hearted ride or if you just fancy a change. However the ride is structured, informative and controlled. Laughter, friendship and good fun, are all part of the joy of riding. These fun rides are not just for children however the grownups soon become kids again.
Own a Pony days (for children)
We hold regular Own a Pony day and the children are taught how to safely move around the ponies and care for them. These are an ideal opportunity to see what it is like to "own a pony". Pupils learn stable management skills including grooming, plaiting and tacking up. The course involves riding sessions with fun activities in the afternoon.
